Earth Day: Stop by for a eco-friendly giveaway!

Make Earth Day Every Day

Earth Day was founded in 1970 as a day of education about environmental issues, and Earth Day 2022 will occur on Friday, April 22

Earth Day is a day when millions of people across the world come together to promote a cleaner, safer environment.

Heartwood will have giveaways, coffee, tea and yummy treats – so stop-in. Our office hours on Fridays are: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.

Volunteer Day

How are you celebrating Earth Day this year? Do you love to Volunteer?

Saturday morning, April 20th, we will be digging up and moving plants here at Heartwood.

Come help & learn about Florida’s beautiful native plants and wildflowers in bloom.

Have fun with other Heartwood Family and Friends.

Your RSVP is appreciated. We will provide water and snacks. Bring your own sun protection & water bottle, wear your grubby gardening clothes, closed toe shoes. We have tools and gloves, but if you have any, please bring them.

* If digging in the dirt isn’t your thing or you can’t make this event but still want to help, let me know. We could use help moving & settling in once our Welcome Center is complete.
