We are proud to host another West Pasco Death Café gathering in our big beautiful Welcome Center.

Your Hosts: Justin Martz, a local Yoga teacher-trainer along with Diana Sayegh, death-positive, Funeral Celebrant & the Manager of Heartwood invites participants to share their thoughts and feelings on #DEATH.

It’s an opportunity for safe and open exchanges, without an agenda.
Coffee, tea and cake are provided.

This is NOT an end-of-life planning event, bereavement group, or grief counseling.

Join West Pasco Death Café for an informal gathering where you can safely share with others your questions, concerns and/or experiences regarding any of the many aspects of death. We offer an accessible, respectful and confidential space, free of discrimination, where people can express their views safely. There’s no intention of leading participants towards any particular conclusion, product or course of action. We are not however, a support group for people who are actively grieving or in any end-of-life planning stages.

We provide refreshments; however, the Oasis Coffee Spot has amazing coffee, tea and homemade soda for purchase.

Free to attend *conference room voluntary donation charge ?

We ask attendees are 18 and older please.

*No agenda, no selling, no special themes – just real people with deep thoughts, stories, questions & personal experiences they wish to share – and maybe a few laughs too!

Death Café members can enjoy cake and refreshments in a comfortable, safe, private, respectful setting. We are not however, a support group for people who are actively grieving or in the end-of-life planning stages. We kindly suggest members are 18 years of age and older as well.

Free to attend with donations accepted, as this location does charge a fee for their private room.

Death Café Trinity is a open forum group that meets once per month to discuss all topics of death.

No agenda, no selling, no special themes, just real people with real thoughts, personal stories and experiences they wish to share —

and maybe a few laughs too!

What is Death Café?

Death Cafe Heartwood At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.

Our objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’.

A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Our Death Cafes are always offered:

– On a not for profit basis

– In an accessible, respectful and confidential space

– With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action

– Alongside refreshing drinks and nourishing food – and cake!
