How to survive the holidays after a loss. 2-hour FREE Workshop.

A “Surviving the Holidays After Loss” workshop will be held 1:00-3 p.m. in Heartwood’s Welcome Center, 4100 Starkey Blvd., Trinity. Anyone that has experienced a death is welcome. It will be led by Chaplain Laura Starre Emerson, M.S., Ed. S. in Counseling, an experienced bereavement facilitator, and suicide and crisis counselor. The workshop is free. Call 727-376-5111

What to expect: This is not counseling or coaching. This is a safe space to share your grief story, receive support and get some tools to be able to navigate the upcoming holiday season.

Your HOST:
Joel-Ann is a Certified Transitional Life Coach that specializes in equipping women with the necessary tools to transition from surviving to thriving after experiencing a major life event or loss of any kind. Her experience with personal loss and also as a Hospice and Palliative Care nurse, gave her a unique perspective and understanding of what grief is and ignited her passion for helping women heal after loss. Her training as a Grief Recovery Specialist is the toolbox she pulls from to help her clients rediscover joy and create a “new normal” despite their encounters with grief and loss.
